HOW TO APPLY
Have you already been for a visit to our kindergarten and are now considering enrolling your child? Please familiarize yourself with the conditions of admission and other important information about the operation of the kindergarten.
We accept children from 2 to 6 years of age. They are divided into two classes. In the kindergarten, we have a class of “Küken” for the youngest children from 2 to 3 years and the “Enten” class for children from 3 to 6 years. We offer a special programme for pre-schoolers aged 5-6 years in the group of “Schwalben” in the last year of attendance, which is focused on preparation for Czech and German primary schools.
Parents can choose between a half-day (07:30-13:00) or full-day (07:30-18:00) programme for their children.
The programme in German is held every morning.
It is also possible to attend only three or four days per week.
Conditions of admission to kindergarten:
All children must present a medical certificate and be vaccinated before starting school!
What else you need to know before enrolling a child:
It is not necessary for children to have a command of both languages when entering school. At the nursery, they quickly acquire language skills through daily contact with the teacher and other children.
Parents and their children can attend the kindergarten before enrolling. Before the child begins in the nursery school, the parents will have to meet for the first time with their class teachers.
Based on an interview with parents, we then plan the first days in kindergarten and the gradual integration of the child into the group together. The first days in kindergarten are very important for the child, but can also be quite demanding. Therefore, we require that one parent be present in the kindergarten during their child’s first days in order to make their child’s new experience easier. It is also very important for us that parents leave the kindergarten with the feeling that their child is confident and cared for.
Tuition fees are paid 12 times per year for each calendar month in advance, even in case of illness or other absence of the child.
